In the attic of a Parisian house, the artists Rodolfo, Marcello, Schaunard, and Colline live on the brink of poverty. When their young neighbor Mimì knocks on their door to ask for a light for her candle, a new concern enters Rodolfo’s life: love. Despite Mimì’s illness, they decide to remain together until spring. But can this great, yet so fragile, love survive the bitter winter?
